Hear ye! Hear ye! Good news comes to the Adelaide potting neck of the woods! The Adelaide Potters’ Club is returning — both online and physically!
As of the 20th of July, right here will be the home of our SALA online exhibition, ‘What Solitude Brings’. So check back here on Monday to have a look for yourself!
And: We are also excited to announce that the physical gallery will also be open from the 1st of August! There you’ll be able to have a proper look of the pieces that are being showcased here in all their personal, three dimensional glory. And, who knows, you might find something that takes your fancy while you’re at it!
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon after all this time, and we hope you might enjoy a little of what our solitude has brought us!
There will be 2 exhibition rooms in the gallery: one with Ikebana arrangements in members’ ceramic works and one with members’ work. The Ikebana arrangements are altered every weekend so please visit more than once during the 3 weekends of the exhibition.
The exhibition runs from the 5th to the 20th of October with the opening on Sunday 6th at 2:00 pm.
Join us for the opening of our SALA Clayworks Award Exhibition on Sunday, 4th August 2019 at 2pm. This year is the club’s 70th Anniversary and we are honoured to have the Governor, Hieu Van Le AC, to open the exhibition and renowned potter, Jeff Mincham AM, to judge the Clayworks award.
